An UpTrack alternative for producers who want to fix the mix first
UpTrack asks whether your track is ready and which labels might sign it. TrackSensei asks what is holding the mix back and helps you fix it. Both are built for electronic music, and they do different jobs. Here is how they compare, as of October 2026.

What UpTrack does well
UpTrack calls itself "AI A&R for electronic music", and the A&R part is real. Once a track is analyzed, it matches it against more than 700 labels with demo contacts and more than 50 repost networks and promo channels, which turns a score into a list of places to send the track. The analysis is built for the same world: five categories calibrated on 16 electronic styles, an 8-band analysis, a release-readiness score, a check against 7 streaming platforms and written fixes. Uploaded files are deleted after seven days, the LUFS and BPM tools are free, and €49 a year for unlimited analyses is a low price for this category.
Getting signed or learning the mix
A release-readiness score answers "can this go out?". When the answer is "not yet", the next question is what to change, and that is where the two tools part ways. A demo that goes to 700 labels with a crowded low end is still a demo with a crowded low end. UpTrack gives you written fixes and stops there: no chat to ask what a fix means for your track, no version tracking to see whether it worked, no reference comparison. TrackSensei is built around that loop. Each fix comes with why it matters, how to fix it and the expected effect; the mentor answers follow-up questions about your specific numbers; and when you upload the next version, the compare view shows the score change and which issues are resolved, new or still open. That loop is where you learn, and it is what makes the next track better too.
Depth on the production itself
UpTrack reads your audio. TrackSensei reads your audio too, and in Ableton also your .als: every track, device chain, MIDI clip and note, send and automation lane. That is what lets a note say "the pad on channel 7 masks the lead from the second drop" instead of "watch your midrange". Scoring runs on 71 subgenre profiles in 12 main genres, so hard techno, minimal techno and melodic techno each get their own targets. Techno and house targets come straight from 563 released tracks, published with the methodology in our data study; the other genres are built from in-depth genre research and get sharper as more tracks come in. Upload your stems (kick, sub, bass, drums, leads, pads, vocals, FX) and Stem Interaction Analysis shows how they fit together (Ultimate, with one free try on every plan). The audio analysis runs in your browser, so an unreleased track never leaves your machine.
How to choose
If your track is finished and you want to know where to send it, UpTrack does something we do not: label and promo matching. If the track is not there yet, or you want every next track to come out better, start with TrackSensei. The two also work in sequence: fix the mix here, then take the finished version to UpTrack for the release side. The free plan gives you a full diagnosis: scores, reference deltas and every issue we found, and a Release Check unlocks the full report for one track for €5.95, with no subscription. The rest of the field is in our comparison of AI mix feedback tools.
